What it is

A real, operating plus-size legwear brand I founded and run, selling across four channels (TikTok Shop, Shopify, Walmart, Amazon) with a 100,000+ organic audience feeding it. My own brand — the unfakeable proof that I understand the whole business, not just the code.

What I built

  • 01A custom Shopify Liquid theme I wrote and maintain: quantity-bundle pricing, size guides, sticky mobile add-to-cart, product schema, and conversion copy tuned to how plus-size shoppers decide.
  • 02The demand engine: a 100,000+ organic social audience (113K TikTok) driving sales with zero paid advertising.
  • 03A four-channel sales operation kept in sync instead of run as four separate stores.
  • 04My own ops stack in code: a React + Supabase multi-hub inventory app that syncs orders and stock across Walmart, Shopify, and Amazon and tracks SKUs, margins, returns, and cycle counts.
  • 05Supporting tools: a warehouse barcode-scanner app, an in-house creator/UGC platform, and a community bot.

Business problem

Plus-size customers are underserved by legwear that actually fits, and most new DTC brands try to buy their way in with paid ads. The bet: prove a brand can reach real money on organic demand and product-market fit alone — and sell one catalog cleanly across four very different marketplaces without a full team.

My role

Founder and sole operator. Product, growth, code, and ops — all me.

Proof

  • $910K in revenue on $0 paid advertising.
  • 25,000+ customers; 100,000+ organic audience (113K TikTok).
  • Four sales channels, one synced catalog.
  • Live at thickthightribe.com — numbers already public on kevinbuildsbrands.com.

Why it's impressive

The revenue is real and it happened on zero ad spend — product-market fit plus organic growth plus operational discipline, not a media budget. And I didn't just run it; I built it: the storefront, the multi-marketplace inventory sync, the warehouse tooling. Very few Shopify developers have run a store to seven figures, and very few operators can code their own ops stack. I'm both.
